Job summary

Leaders In Care is recruiting a Community Chemotherapy Nurse to deliver specialist oncology care in patients' homes around Bristol. You will work Monday–Friday with autonomy to manage a personal caseload and build strong relationships with patients.

Applicants should be an RGN with valid NMC registration and chemotherapy experience; the role offers a Company car or a £4,887.50 car allowance, and a benefits package including private medical insurance and pension.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RGN) with a valid NMC registration.
• Experience administering chemotherapy in hospital or community.
• SACT Passport or recognised chemotherapy qualification preferred.
• Competent in IV therapy, cannulation and phlebotomy.
• Confident working independently with strong clinical assessment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver chemotherapy treatments safely in patients' homes across Bristol.
• Undertake comprehensive patient assessments before and during treatment.
• Administer IV chemotherapy, perform cannulation and phlebotomy.
• Monitor patients during treatment and manage adverse reactions appropriately.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team.
