Job summary

Leaders In Care Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Community Chemotherapy Nurse to deliver cancer treatments in patients' homes across Northamptonshire. You will lead care with autonomy, performing clinical assessments and IV chemotherapy administration while maintaining patient safety.

Qualifications

Registered Nurse (RGN) with a valid NMC registration.
Experience administering chemotherapy in hospital or community settings.
SACT Passport or chemotherapy qualification preferred.
Competency in IV therapy, cannulation and phlebotomy.

Responsibilities

Deliver chemotherapy treatments safely within patients' homes across Northampton and the surrounding Northamptonshire area.
Complete comprehensive clinical assessments before and during treatment.
Administer IV chemotherapy and undertake cannulation and phlebotomy.
Monitor patients and respond to adverse reactions.
Manage own patient caseload and plan daily work.
