Goodson Lodge in Trowbridge, Wiltshire is seeking an experienced Chef to design menus, cook nutritious meals for residents, and lead a small catering team. Manage nutrition, hygiene, and safety while maintaining high culinary standards in a dementia and residential care setting.

You will oversee daily kitchen operations, engage with residents to accommodate preferences, and contribute to community meal services. Bank shifts offer flexible timing without split shifts.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a professional kitchen for large numbers and specialist diets.
• Level 3 Diploma in Hospitality Supervision and Leadership preferred but not essential.
• Experience leading and inspiring a team and engaging with residents' needs.
• Ability to manage budget and stock effectively.

Responsabilités

• Oversee all aspects of kitchen and catering services and small team management.
• Ensure highest standards of nutrition, hygiene and safety at all times.
• Occasionally cater for meals for day centres and community activities; some weekend work.
