Job summary

Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist to join the school age team, mainly supporting Winchcombe Language Resource in West Berkshire. You will work autonomously within a multidisciplinary setting, offering specialist SLT input and collaborating with education staff to support children with developmental language disorders.

You will have opportunities to shadow senior therapists, attend training, and develop expertise in DLD while contributing

Qualifications

• Qualified Speech and Language Therapist registered with HCPC.
• Experience working with children with Developmental Language Disorder (DLD).
• Experience in school settings and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist autonomous clinical SLT input within CYPIT and mainstream schools.
• Deliver high-quality assessment and interventions for children with developmental/complex needs.
• Contribute to defined projects and support junior therapists within the service.
