Job summary

Hopewood Hospital in Nottinghamshire is recruiting an experienced Occupational Therapist (Band 6) to deliver high‑quality OT services for young people with complex mental health needs. The role is part‑time (18.75 hours per week) and flexible working patterns are supported.

The post is based at Hopewood Town, with a multidisciplinary team, education facilities, and community links. Registration with HCPC is required; DBS checks apply, and DBS costs are deducted from salary.

Qualifications

• Registered OT with HCPC in the UK
• Experience in community and/or inpatient mental health settings
• Ability to work autonomously within a multi-disciplinary team

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality occupational therapy services for young people with complex needs
• Support sensory processing, activities of daily living (ADLs), 1:1 and group work
• Work as part of the MDT to plan, deliver and evaluate OT interventions
• Manage own caseload with evidence-based practice and risk assessment
• Contribute to training and supervision of junior staff
