Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Health Care Professions Council registration.
• Post registration experience in mental health/learning disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Undertake standardised and non-standardised assessments to plan treatment.
• Interpret assessments to develop client-centred OT plans (individual/group).
• Maintain high-standard interventions informed by evidence and collaboration with carers.
• Provide supervision to staff and students; work autonomously within the MDT.
• Facilitate OT groups and coordinate care programmes.
