Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner to lead autonomous ANP clinics across Carnforth’s primary care settings. You will deliver advanced assessments, triage, and same-day presentations with full clinical autonomy within established GP and community services.

Flexible sessional work, weekday/evening/weekend availability, and ad-hoc or regular bookings are offered, with clear pathways and supportive digital systems to ensure safe, efficient patient care in every clinic.

Qualifications

• Qualified Advanced Nurse Practitioner ready to lead autonomous ANP clinics.
• Holding Independent Prescribing (V300) and DBS clearance.
• Experience in GP, urgent care or community settings is required.

Responsibilities

• Run autonomous ANP-led clinics within primary care settings.
• Manage acute and minor illness presentations with triage.
• Prescribe safely within scope of competence.
• Record clinical notes in digital systems and review results.
