Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner to deliver autonomous ANP-led sessions across Bruton in established primary care clinics. You will manage acute presentations, perform triage and prescribe within your scope, ensuring safe, efficient care in well-supported GP and community services.

The role offers fully flexible sessional work across weekday, evening or weekend slots, with ad-hoc or regular bookings to suit your schedule.

Qualifications

• Must hold Level 7 Advanced Practice qualification.
• Independent Prescribing (V300) required.
• Experience in GP/urgent care/community settings.
• Enhanced DBS clearance.

Responsibilities

• Running autonomous ANP-led clinics within primary care settings.
• Managing acute, undifferentiated and minor illness presentations.
• Conducting telephone and face-to-face triage.
• Prescribing safely within scope of competence.
• Reviewing results and handling routine follow-up actions.
• Recording accurate clinical notes within the clinic's digital systems.
