Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking an Advanced Clinical Practitioner to work in a GP practice in Lincoln. This role offers structured, well-supported clinical sessions for an autonomous ACP who thrives in primary care.

Working alongside GPs, nurses and wider clinical staff, you will provide comprehensive assessments, deliver safe clinical decisions, and contribute to high-quality patient outcomes in a busy practice. Flexible ad-hoc or regular sessions with morning and afternoon clinics.

Qualifications

• ACPreq Level 7 training or equivalent.
• Independent Prescribing qualification desirable (V300).
• Experience in primary, urgent care or emergency settings.
• Excellent clinical reasoning and patient communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage same-day and routine ACP appointments.
• Assess, diagnose and treat a wide range of presentations.
• Support on-the-day demand through telephone triage.
• Prescribe independently where qualified.
• Action results, referrals and follow-up tasks.
• Maintain accurate and compliant patient records.
