Job summary

Locum Ready is recruiting an Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) to work in a GP practice in Edgware. The post offers structured, well-supported clinical sessions and autonomy in primary care with clear workflows and steady patient demand.

You will assess, diagnose and treat a wide range of presentations alongside GPs, Nurses and staff, with on-the-day triage and independent prescribing where qualified.

Qualifications

• ACPs with Level 7 qualification and Independent Prescribing preferred.
• Experience in primary, urgent or emergency care settings.
• Excellent clinical reasoning and patient communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously in clinic and maintain compliance with DBS checks.

Responsibilities

• Managing same-day and routine ACP appointments.
• Assessing, diagnosing and treating a wide range of presentations.
• Supporting on-the-day demand through telephone triage.
• Prescribing independently where qualified.
• Actioning results, referrals and follow-up tasks.
• Maintaining accurate and compliant patient records.
