Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking a Locum Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) to work in a GP practice in Erith. The role suits an experienced ACP from nursing, paramedic, or allied health background, delivering autonomous clinical assessments within a structured primary care setting.

You will run your own clinics within an established multidisciplinary team, supporting urgent and routine demand with clear pathways, strong admin support and efficient workflows for session delivery.

Qualifications

Advanced Clinical Practitioner qualification (Level 7/Postgraduate)
Nursing, Paramedic Science, Physiotherapy or similar background
Independent Prescribing qualification (V300) preferred
Recent experience in primary care, urgent care or UTC settings
Familiarity with EMIS, SystmOne or Vision
Enhanced DBS

Responsibilities

Conduct acute and same-day access clinics
Autonomous assessment, diagnosis and management of undifferentiated presentations
Telephone triage and clinical streaming
Ordering and interpreting investigations
Prescribing safely within scope (where qualified)
Managing follow-up actions, results and referral workflows
Documenting clearly using the practice clinical system
