Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking a Locum Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join a GP practice in Ferndown, delivering autonomous, well-structured sessions with steady patient demand. You will work alongside GPs, nurses and wider clinical staff to perform comprehensive assessments, make safe clinical decisions and contribute to high-quality patient outcomes in a primary care setting.

Qualifications

• Advanced Clinical Practitioner training at Level 7.
• Independent Prescribing qualification (V300) desirable.
• Experience in primary care, urgent care or emergency settings.
• Excellent clinical reasoning and patient communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously in clinic; enhanced DBS and up-to-date training.

Responsibilities

• Managing same-day and routine ACP appointments.
• Assessing, diagnosing and treating a wide range of presentations.
• Supporting on-the-day demand through telephone triage.
• Prescribing independently where qualified.
• Actioning results, referrals and follow-up tasks.
• Maintaining accurate and compliant patient records.
