Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking an experienced Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join a GP practice in Warwick. You will conduct comprehensive assessments, make safe clinical decisions and support busy clinics in a primary care setting.

The role offers flexible ad-hoc or regular sessions, with morning and afternoon clinics and opportunities for long-term or short-term placements, working alongside GPs, nurses and wider clinical staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in primary care, urgent care or emergency settings.
• Excellent clinical reasoning and patient communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously in clinic.
• Enhanced DBS and up-to-date clinical training.

Responsibilities

• Managing same-day and routine ACP appointments
• Assessing, diagnosing and treating a wide range of presentations
• Supporting on-the-day demand through telephone triage
• Prescribing independently where qualified
• Actioning results, referrals and follow-up tasks
• Maintaining accurate and compliant patient records
