Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking an experienced Advanced Clinical Practitioner to work in a GP practice in Halesowen. This locum role suits ACPs from nursing, paramedic, or allied health backgrounds who can deliver autonomous clinical assessments, safe decisions, and efficient patient management within a structured primary care environment.

You will join an established multidisciplinary team and run your own clinics, supporting both urgent and routine patient demand.

Qualifications

• Advanced Clinical Practitioner qualification at Level 7 or postgraduate level.
• Strong ability to perform autonomous clinical assessments and decision-making.
• Experience with independent prescribing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct acute and same-day access clinics.
• Autonomous assessment, diagnosis and management of undifferentiated presentations.
• Telephone triage and clinical streaming.
• Order and interpret investigations.
• Prescribe safely within scope (where qualified).
• Manage follow-up actions, results and referral workflows.
• Document clearly using the practice clinical system.
