Job summary

Kineton is seeking an Automotive Systems & Software Validation Engineer to drive pre-vehicle validation across software and integrated propulsion/control systems. You will work with MIL, SIL and HIL environments to ensure robustness and production readiness, including multi-ECU setups.

Candidate should have 2+ years in automotive software qualification or validation, with hands-on experience in CAN/LIN/FlexRay, HIL testing, and tools like CANoe/CANalyzer, dSPACE, DOORS or Jira.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in automotive software qualification, system integration, or validation.
• Engineering degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• Knowledge of automotive E/E architectures and CAN/LIN/FlexRay protocols.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute software qualification, system integration, and regression tests.
• Configure and maintain HIL, SIL, MIL, and simulation test benches (multi-ECU setups).
• Derive test cases from requirements to ensure full traceability per ASPICE and ISO 26262.
• Develop automated test scripts using Python and CAPL; perform root cause analysis with cross-functional teams.
