Job summary

Expleo is seeking an automotive software test engineer to perform functional, component and integration testing of vehicle functions within an agile V-cycle framework. This UK-based role, including Preston, involves close collaboration with the software team to ensure high-quality vehicle software delivery.

You will develop test plans, design test cases, execute tests, and report results, driving issue resolution and regression testing.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electronic Engineering or closely related discipline.
• Experience with automotive testing and verification toolchains.

Responsibilities

• Develop test plans against project plan.
• Design component, functional and integration tests against specifications.
• Execute tests and generate test reports.
• Perform issues resolution and regression testing to root causes.
• Review requirements and architecture to flag gaps or ambiguities.
• Coordinate with software development team on testing outcomes.
