Job summary

Northampton Motorsport Ltd is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join a busy workshop. You will work on a range of vehicles from modern to vintage, performing maintenance, diagnostics and fabrication as needed.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in the retail motor trade, proficiency in electronics and suspension, and a can-do attitude. A driving licence is required; UK-based applicants only. Overtime is available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in retail motor trade as a technician or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance and repair on a wide range of vehicles from modern to vintage.
• Diagnose faults and propose effective solutions.
• Perform fabrication and welding tasks as required (tig welding desirable).
• Communicate with customers about work and findings.
• Manage own workload in a busy workshop.
