Perfect Placement is representing an Independent Sports Car Specialist seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician in Hitchin. The role focuses on diagnostics, servicing and repairs on prestigious sports cars within a team-oriented workshop.

Qualifications

• Prior workshop experience as a Vehicle Technician.
• Proven competence in servicing, fault diagnosis, and repairs.
• Confident with clutch, engine work and component replacements.

• Background in specialist, dealership, or independent garages encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Conduct vehicle inspections to identify technical issues.
• Perform routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs to a high standard.
• Use diagnostic equipment to identify faults.
• Execute complex repairs such as engine out jobs, clutch replacements, and cooling system repairs.
• Carry out upgrades and modifications as required.
• Work in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and safety standards.

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established Independent Sports Car Specialist, for the position of Vehicle Technician. Benefits for the successful Vehicle Technician:

• Up to £50,000 basic salary
• Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm, with no weekend work.
