Job summary

Halfords Autocentres seek an enthusiastic apprentice to join our workshop team. You will learn to diagnose and repair vehicles across a range of makes and models, under guidance from skilled technicians.

The programme combines hands-on work in the Autocentre with day release at college, developing practical and theoretical skills for a career as a vehicle technician. Benefits include holiday allowance and pension schemes.

Qualifications

• GCSEs in Maths and English at Grade C or above (Or Equivalents).
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to learn from instructors and colleagues.
• Willingness to work as part of a team and in a busy workshop environment.

Responsibilities

• Gain hands-on experience diagnosing and repairing vehicles within a Halfords Autocentre.
• Assist with servicing, inspections and routine maintenance.
• Learn to use diagnostic equipment and follow workshop procedures to ensure safety and quality.
