Job summary

Halfords Autocentre Apprenticeship seeks motivated individuals to join a fast‑paced workshop environment. You will gain hands‑on experience diagnosing and repairing vehicles, with a clear path to becoming a skilled technician.

Expect a 5‑day week with college day release, a strong emphasis on safety, teamwork and customer service as you learn through practical duties and mentor guidance.

Qualifications

• GCSEs in Maths and English at Grade C or above (Or Equivalents)
• Friendly, helpful and team‑oriented with a desire to build a career in vehicle technology
• Willingness to learn and develop diagnostic and repair skills

Responsibilities

• Learn to diagnose and repair vehicles across various makes and models
• Assist with servicing, inspections and repairs under supervision
• Develop skills in engine, chassis and electrical systems through hands‑on practice
