Job summary

Volkswagen AG in Milton Keynes is recruiting an Automotive Technical Support Specialist on a permanent full-time basis. The role combines remote diagnosis via DISS/ODIS with on-site dealer visits and cross-brand support to resolve complex vehicle issues.

You will diagnose a wide range of systems, communicate clearly at all levels, and drive proactive problem solving. A Master Technician qualification is required, with High Voltage expertise preferred, and a full UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven success in diagnosis on a range of vehicle systems with wide experience in all aspects of vehicle repairs.
• Minimum requirement: Master Technician qualification; High Voltage Expert qualification preferred.
• Excellent computer/analytical skills to troubleshoot issues.
• Strong communication skills to relay information effectively at all levels.
• Highly motivated self-starter able to work on own initiative while resolving multiple technical issues.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality technical support/resolutions via remote and on-site visits using group systems (DISS/ODIS) for the Group network of brands.
• Take ownership of information and guidance with a customer-centric approach to meet global quality and response targets.
• Drive timely resolution by remote support or hands-on repair guidance in collaboration with multiple teams and dealers.
• Identify and influence process improvements to ensure dealers are supported in delivering the most efficient solutions.
