Job summary

One to One Personnel Limited is seeking an Automotive Solutions Specialist in Basildon for a temporary maternity cover. The role combines team management, commercial coordination and KPI-driven performance monitoring within a fast-paced environment.

You will coordinate service solutions, support the dealer network, analyse data and drive profitability. Hybrid working is offered, with UK travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate maintenance and repair contracts, extended warranties and connected services.
• Manage and support a team of two, monitoring performance and ensuring KPIs are met.
• Work closely with dealers and internal sales teams to support commercial targets and improve service contract uptake.
• Analyse business data and performance reports to identify trends, opportunities and areas for improvement.
• Support pricing initiatives, commercial campaigns and product updates.
• Build strong relationships with dealers, customers and internal departments.
• Provide guidance and training to dealer teams on service solutions and processes.
• Review underperforming contracts and support initiatives to improve profitability.
• Assist with connected services and telematics solutions using vehicle data to support recommendations.

Basildon | Temp Maternity Cover | Hybrid | £57,000 - £62,000 PA

We are looking for an organised, commercially minded Automotive Solutions Specialist to join a leading commercial vehicle business on a temporary maternity cover contract.

This is a demanding, fast-paced role involving the coordination of after-sales service solutions, management of a small team and support for the UK dealer network. You will play a key role in monitoring performance against KPIs, improving profitability and ensuring commercial targets are achieved.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate maintenance and repair contracts, extended warranties and connected services.
• Manage and support a team of two, monitoring performance and ensuring KPIs are met.
• Work closely with dealers and internal sales teams to support commercial targets and improve service contract uptake.
• Analyse business data and performance reports to identify trends, opportunities and areas for improvement.

About You:

• Experience in a commercial, coordination, after-sales or service support role, ideally within the automotive or commercial vehicle sector.
• Previous team management or supervisory experience.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Commercial awareness, with an understanding of KPIs, performance targets and profitability.
• Confident analysing data and producing reports, with good Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with dealers and internal teams.
• A proactive, hands‑on approach with strong problem‑solving skills.
• Knowledge of Power BI, vehicle telematics or connected services would be advantageous.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the UK.
