Job description

Do you have a passion for all things motoring? And a real knack with customers?

This role will see you proactively engaging with customers, building rapport quickly, and advising on the products and services Halfords offers to provide the best solutions, ensuring customers leave with what they want and need.

You’ll lead and support your team to achieve sales across the Halfords group through referrals for services like Tyres, MOT, and other car maintenance needs. Recommending the right solution—whether fixing it in the car park, at our Autocentre, or via our Halfords Mobile Expert van—is central to this role.

Excellent at building relationships, you’ll collaborate with colleagues in our Autocentre and Mobile Expert teams to deliver a seamless customer experience.

To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

  • Excellent rapport-building and communication skills
  • Experience in delivering outstanding face-to-face customer service, ideally in retail sales or automotive environments
  • A proven track record of achieving sales targets by converting conversations into opportunities
  • Experience supervising and coaching team members
  • A keen interest or experience in motoring products and services
