Placements24 is seeking an Automotive Service Manager to lead a busy service department in Randburg. This senior role focuses on profitability, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction, overseeing service advisors and technicians and driving performance.

The role requires five years of leadership experience, deep automotive knowledge, strong communication, and proficiency with DMS and financial reporting.

Formación

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in an Automotive Service Manager or similar leadership role.
• Proven track record of managing a profitable service department.
• Strong understanding of automotive repair, diagnostics, and warranty procedures.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with budgeting and staff management.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee all aspects of the automotive service department, including daily operations, staffing, and financial performance.
• Manage and mentor the service advisor and technician teams, setting clear goals and providing regular feedback.
• Develop and implement strategies to maximize service revenue, control costs, and improve workshop efficiency.
• Ensure exceptional customer service delivery, handling customer complaints and resolving issues effectively.
• Maintain high standards of quality for all repairs and maintenance performed by the team.
• Monitor KPIs and report on departmental performance to senior management.
