Job summary

Silcom Recruitment has a vacancy for an experienced Service Advisor at a well-established motor trade business in Cambridge. You will greet customers, record vehicle details and work requirements, and liaise with the workshop team to keep progress informed.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers cheerfully and attend to requirements promptly.
• Record full customer and vehicle details and clear work descriptions.
• Liaise with Foreman/Service Manager on workshop progress.
• Inform customers of delays and arrange subsequent action.
• Maintain the workshop loading system.
• Present invoices and process payments for cash customers.
• Record warranty information on Job Cards.
• Liaise with Parts regarding parts on order.
• File Job Cards and documentation.
• Cover a wide range of duties as directed by management.
