Job summary

Lotus Cars is seeking a Quality Inspector to join our Manufacturing Quality team at Hethel. This temporary, immediate-start role runs until the end of 2026 and supports resolution of production DPV with structured countermeasures.

You will conduct root cause analyses, document changes, and drive cross-functional improvements on the shop floor while ensuring timely defect closure and adherence to Lotus ROAD behaviours.

Qualifications

• Automotive manufacturing experience.
• Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
• Hold a valid Full Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Work in a team to resolve production DPV and document defects and actions.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis to support product/process improvements.
• Communicate and document process changes to cross-functional teams.
• Develop and support troubleshooting to ensure permanent corrective actions.
• Contribute to shop floor process development to ensure lasting fixes.
• Lead multi-department studies to drive in-house improvements.
• Assist in responding to Field Control actions promptly.
