Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking a Plant Quality Engineer for a contract role in Fradley, Staffordshire. The candidate will lead quality activities across development and production for measurement fixtures and gauges, ensuring conformity and traceability throughout the program life cycle up to Gate 4.

The role requires 5+ years in automotive quality, a relevant engineering degree, and strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and knowledge of DFMEA, PFMEA, APQP/PPAP and IATF 16949.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in Quality, Management, or Mechanical.
• 5+ years in program or plant quality in automotive.
• Experience with DFMEA, PFMEA, control plans, and measurement systems.
• Knowledge of IATF 16949 and quality audits.
• Strong problem-solving and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality development and production processes for measurement fixtures.
• Define control plans and ensure conformity and traceability.
• Interface with customer program quality and internal partners.
• Escalate non-conformances and support customer visits.
