Job summary

Hireful in Coventry is seeking a Quality Engineer to drive end-to-end quality across active production and NPI projects. You will act as the bridge between customers and manufacturing, maintain compliance with ISO9001, IATF 16949 and VDA 6.3, optimise control plans, and lead structured problem-solving initiatives.

The role requires strong data analysis, 8D problem solving, MSA/ SPC experience, and hands-on collaboration with suppliers and OEM customers; a proactive, analytical mindset is

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive manufacturing quality.
• Expertise in 8D, MSA, SPC.
• Familiarity with IATF 16949 / VDA 6.3 frameworks.
• Strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
• Ownership of site-wide quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Audit and ensure ISO9001, IATF 16949, and VDA 6.3 compliance.
• Define quality methods for NPI projects and IMDS submissions.
• Lead cross-functional 8D investigations for quality issues.
• Perform data analysis including SPC/ MSA to guide decisions.
• Interface with OEMs and suppliers, monitor KPIs.
