Job summary

TPS Centres, part of the Volkswagen Group UK, is seeking a proactive Parts Sales Executive to drive sales and deliver top customer service. You will work with the Sales Manager to meet Centre targets, identify parts for customers, and leverage promotions while maintaining up-to-date product knowledge.

Ideal candidates are self-starters with strong communication skills, adept at building client relationships, and comfortable with MS Excel and sales systems.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in building relationships and achieving sales targets in a B2B environment.
• Confident communicator with experience in fast-paced or telesales environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to build relationships with key stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented with accurate record-keeping and IT literacy.
• Passion for the automotive industry.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and achieve the Centre's business plan and sales objectives.
• Achieve personal KPI's and revenue targets with target customers.
• Identify parts to meet customer sales requirements.
• Utilise product promotions to achieve targets.
• Identify and leverage opportunities within the customer base.
• Maintain product knowledge and awareness of competitor activity.
• Build strong relationships with customers via phone and face-to-face visits.
• Provide high level of service by understanding requirements, responding to requests, and progressing orders.
• Provide timely communication on credit status to customers.
• Assist and support TPS Centre team to ensure excellent customer service.
• Collaborate with Sales Manager to achieve sales targets.
• Handle incoming calls and enquiries within KPI targets using approved greetings.
• Search and order parts using systems; complete documentation promptly.
• Process cash and credit card transactions in line with TPS guidelines.
