Job summary

Perfect Placement UK Ltd is assisting a reputable automotive parts specialist in Guildford to recruit an experienced Parts Advisor. You will provide expert advice to trade and retail customers, identify vehicle parts accurately, and drive high standards of service and sales performance.

The role offers a competitive salary of £32,000 per year with an achievable £36,000 OTE, Monday to Friday 8:00am–6:00pm, and rotating Saturdays 8:00am–1:00pm.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Parts Advisor within the motor trade.
• Strong customer service orientation and communication skills.
• Ability to build rapport quickly and work effectively within a team.
• Good accuracy and attention to detail in parts identification and records.
• Eligibility to work in the UK without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert advice and deliver outstanding customer service to both trade and retail clients.
• Accurately identify vehicle parts and recommend appropriate solutions to meet customer needs.
• Handle incoming calls and customer enquiries efficiently while achieving set KPIs.
• Process orders and transactions accurately, maintaining comprehensive records.
• Foster strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and loyalty.
• Collaborate with sales colleagues to meet and exceed sales targets.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of automotive parts and industry trends.
• Assist in stock management and administrative tasks to support the team’s operational efficiency.
