Job summary

Perfect Placement UK Ltd represents a well-established Cardiff car dealership hiring a Vehicle Parts Advisor for their busy Parts Department.

Salary is up to £28,500 per year, with OTE to £33,500 via a performance-based bonus; the role is Monday to Friday with one in three Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Recent or current experience within the automotive industry preferred.
• Familiarity with vehicle parts from an automotive aftersales environment.
• Strong IT skills with experience using parts catalogue and dealer management systems (Kerridge/CDK).
• Valid UK driving licence with minimal points.
• Excellent customer service and sales skills; team and independent work capability.

Responsibilities

• Accurately identify and pick vehicle parts for workshop staff.
• Handle parts stock control, audits and inventory management.
• Assist trade and retail customers with parts enquiries and service.
• Work with Parts Manager and team to support department operations.
• Use electronic parts catalogue systems and dealer management software (Kerridge/CDK).
• Maintain stock levels and record-keeping.
