Job summary

Vibe Recruit is seeking a Level 3 Vehicle Technician based in Bolton. You will be responsible for road testing vehicles after repair using diagnostic equipment and performing basic electrical and mechanical repairs.

The role includes completing service records, participating in the preparation process, and undergoing manufacturer training through the dealership academy for a rewarding career path.

Qualifications

Level 3 Vehicle Technician

Location: Bolton

Working Hours: Full Time, Permanent

Salary: £36,500.00 - £48,000.00 OTE per year

We are looking for a fully qualified technician, ideally with a valid MOT certificate, albeit not essential for the right candidate.

You must be qualified to a minimum of NVQ level 3 in vehicle mechanics, have a positive 'can do' attitude as well as a willingness to work as part of an effective team.

Our Technicians are a fundamental part of our Service team and are responsible for accurately completing repair and service records, as well as any other appropriate activities. You will gain a full understanding of our preparation process and have a proven ability to carry out basic electrical and mechanical repairs.

Your duties will include road testing vehicles after repair, using diagnostic equipment and stripping down and reconditioning major units. Whether your experience is from a volume franchised dealer or an independent garage we would love to talk to you about joining our team.

The successful candidate will also be enrolled in the Dealership academy and provided with full manufacturer training, to ensure development for a rewarding future career.

Salary

£36,500.00 - £48,000.00 OTE per year and is based upon experience and includes a monthly £500 bonus.

Hours

Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM (or 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM depending on the specific branch)

Saturday: 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM (often limited to specific appointment rotas)
