Artifex Interior Systems is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to lead new product introductions from quotation through to successful launch, coordinating across engineering, operations, quality, commercial teams and external suppliers to ensure processes and production systems are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineer required.
• Experience in a manufacturing engineering role within automotive, JIT environment.
• Proven track record delivering new product launches and cost-effective manufacturing processes.
• Familiarity with OEMs, lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple new product and process launches with detailed project plans aligned to milestones.
• Coordinate tooling and equipment suppliers, oversee installation activities and sign off new equipment through capability studies and trials.
• Develop PFMEAs, control plans and standard operating instructions; support quality with root cause analysis.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and manage engineering changes through the change request process; support day-to-day manufacturing operations.
