Job summary

Artifex Interior Systems is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to lead new product introductions from quotation to launch, collaborating with engineering, operations, quality, commercial teams and suppliers. You will drive continuous improvement, support performance, and help develop robust manufacturing solutions for automotive products.

Experience with OEMs, lean, and Six Sigma is valued in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineer with manufacturing experience.
• Experience in automotive manufacturing, JIT environments preferred.
• Strong knowledge of lean and Six Sigma methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple new product and process launches with detailed plans.
• Coordinate tooling, equipment suppliers, and installation activities.
• Develop pre-production and production documentation (PFMEAs, control plans, SOPs).
• Support quality teams with root cause analysis and customer concerns.
• Contribute to design-for-manufacture and accurate costing.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and manage engineering changes.
