Job summary

The Franchised Car Dealership Group in Carlisle is seeking an experienced General Sales Manager to lead the dealership's sales operation and drive growth and profitability from a hands-on leadership role. Qualifications

• Proven experience as a General Sales Manager within a franchised dealership.
• Track record of delivering sales performance and profitability.
• Outstanding leadership and team-building abilities.
• Strong commercial awareness and analytical skills.
• Experience driving finance and insurance performance.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Sales Managers and Sales Executives to achieve exceptional performance
• Drive new and used vehicle sales to maximise volume and profitability
• Deliver and exceed manufacturer targets and dealership objectives
• Maximise finance, insurance and ancillary product performance
• Monitor and improve key performance indicators across the department
• Manage stock levels and vehicle supply to optimise sales opportunities
• Ensure FCA compliance and adherence to all company processes
• Recruit, train and retain top sales talent
• Build strong relationships with manufacturer partners and senior stakeholders
• Maintain exceptional standards of customer satisfaction and retention
