Job summary

Logic 360 Ltd is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Technician to join our client’s professional Bodyshop team in the Newport area. You will troubleshoot complex electrical, mechanical, and computer-controlled systems in cars and perform road tests when required.

Responsibilities include diagnosing faults with up-to-date equipment, completing EV health checks, and reporting additional work while maintaining high workmanship standards and supporting junior technicians. Ongoing training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults using manufacturer diagnostic equipment and systems.
• Complete Electronic Vehicle Health Checks.
• Identify and report additional work required on customer vehicles.
• Work closely with the Service Department to ensure excellent customer communication
• Carry out road tests and vehicle inspections where required
• Maintain a high standard of workmanship and efficiency
• Support apprentices and less experienced technicians when appropriate
• Keep up to date with manufacturer training and technical knowledge
