Job summary

Automotive Recruitment Consultants Ltd in Gerrards Cross is seeking an experienced technician to join a privately-owned franchised OEM dealer group. The role focuses on servicing, diagnostics, eHVC reporting, and collaboration with the workshop team.

The ideal candidate is a Level 3 vehicle technician with a full UK driving license; MOT exposure is advantageous, and strong problem-solving and communication skills are essential to explain technical details to non-technical customers.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualified vehicle technician with a full UK driving license / would consider an ambitious level 2 Tech looking to increase his/her skill level.

Responsibilities

• Complete scheduled vehicle servicing in line with manufacturer guidelines
• Undertake diagnostic activities to identify causes and solutions for customer vehicle issues
• Conduct electronic visual health checks (eHVC) on all vehicles and provide a comprehensive report with expert advice and recommendations for customers
• Liaise directly with service advisors and other workshop team members
• Ensure vehicle servicing activities are completed in a safe and high-quality manner, in line with both internal and manufacturer requirements
• Participate in ongoing training and development to ensure product and service knowledge is up to date
