Adam Curtis Specialist Automotive Recruitment Consultancy Ltd in Basildon is seeking a Car Sales Executive to join the team. The role offers a £15k basic salary with an OTE of £40k, and is a permanent full-time position operating Monday to Friday with Saturdays and alternating Sundays.

The successful candidate will achieve sales targets for new and used vehicles while providing exceptional customer service, building trust and loyalty, and maintaining accurate records of customer interactions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year proven experience as a Sales Executive in the motor trade.
• Ability to follow a defined sales process to hit targets.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; excellent selling and negotiating ability.

Responsibilities

• Achieve agreed sales targets for new and/or used vehicles.
• Build trust, communicate effectively, exceed customer expectations, fostering loyalty.
• Maintain and accurately record all customer contact details.
• Handle customer queries and complaints to resolve issues.
• Respond to queries from new and existing customers about vehicle sales.
• Develop and maintain specialist knowledge of manufacturer vehicles.
