Arnold Clark’s GTG Training division is seeking an Automotive Technical Assessor to visit Level 3 apprentices at their place of work, carrying out reviews and assessments. You will possess an industry-recognised Level 3 in Automotive Maintenance and Repair and be a clear communicator who can support apprentices toward successful careers in the automotive industry.

The role involves travelling to various workplaces across the Glasgow area (occasional travel to Inverness and Aberdeen) and requires

Qualificações

• Industry-recognised qualification in Automotive Maintenance & Repair Level 3 (Light/Heavy Vehicle)
• Strong communication skills when engaging with young adults
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• High level of accuracy and multi-tasking ability
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
• Full UK driving licence

Responsabilidades

• Carry out competency-based reviews and assessments at apprentices’ workplaces
• Measure student progress against industry and awarding body standards
• Provide supported learning and guidance to apprentices and their employers
• Travel to various workplaces across the area
• Assist apprentices in building an evidence portfolio from workplace tasks
• Complete SDS documentation within set timescales
• Complete awarding body targets within set timeframes
