Job summary

Version 1 in the UK is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Test who is confident in manual testing but also enjoys automation. You will join an agile team helping clients achieve business transformation goals by identifying requirements, developing solutions and guiding test strategy.

Responsibilities include defining test strategies, planning and scripts, logging issues, and supporting development teams to automate tests while maintaining quality across environments.

Qualifications

• Confident with building and maintaining test frameworks in Java.
• Experience with open source testing tools such as Cypress, Karate, Playwright, Selenium.
• Worked in an agile environment.
• UK resident for five+ years with no more than 30 days abroad to meet Security Clearance eligibility or currently hold Security Clearance.
• Experience with performance/non-functional testing would be beneficial.

• Accurate recording and monitoring of issues
• Providing support to the development teams to automate tests
• Reviewing test environments and processes to facilitate continuous improvement and maintenance of quality standards
