LSEG is seeking a Test Architect to own the automation test strategy, architecture, and governance within the FTSE Russell Test Framework for the Equities Product & Operations team. The role blends hands-on engineering with technical leadership to shape how quality is designed, automated, and measured across the delivery lifecycle.

You will set testability guidelines, drive reusable patterns, and partner with engineering and product teams to ensure robust automated testing in an AWS environment

• Experience leading test automation strategy for large-scale systems.
• Proven ability to design maintainable, scalable test frameworks.
• Strong collaboration with engineering, product, and architecture teams.

Responsabilidades

• Define and maintain the automation test strategy for FTSE Russell Test Framework.
• Establish target test architecture, reusable patterns and design principles.
• Provide guidance on test levels and approaches across functional, integration, API, data, performance, resilience, security, and regression testing.
• Partner with engineering, product and architecture early in design to ensure testability and identify quality risks.
• Identify gaps and improvements in test coverage and work with delivery teams to implement them.
• Remain hands-on in designing and reviewing framework capabilities using Python and Pytest.
• Define standards for test structure, configuration, data and results to ensure reliability.
• Guide tooling decisions for framework in AWS and GitLab delivery workflows.
• Integrate automated testing into GitLab CI/CD to provide timely feedback.
