Job summary

TXM Recruit is partnering with a prominent automation and intralogistics company to hire an experienced Site Manager to oversee a fast-paced automated distribution facility in Preston. You will manage supervisors, control budgets and maintain client relationships.

The ideal candidate has operational experience in automated distribution or manufacturing, a strong Lean / 6 Sigma background, NEBOSH qualification, and proven leadership with excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• HNC/D NVQ Level 5 or higher engineering qualification.
• Operational experience within automated distribution or manufacturing facilities.
• Lean / Six Sigma experience and continuous improvement mindset.
• NEBOSH qualification and strong health & safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Promote safety culture and compliance with H&S standards.
• Manage site with 13+ employees.
• Plan and manage site budgets and commercial activities.
• Lead customer management and escalation handling.
• Produce reports and data analysis.
