Job summary

TXM Recruit is recruiting a Site Maintenance Supervisor for a fast-paced automated distribution facility in Stoke-on-Trent. You will oversee engineers and team leaders, promote safety compliance, and drive maintenance strategies to ensure reliable operations.

The ideal candidate has experience in automated intralogistics, a strong leadership track record, and IOSH certification. The role requires hands-on management and effective coordination with operations.

Qualifications

• Proven history of strength in people leadership and development.
• NVQ Level 3 minimum, NVQ Level 5 preferred.
• IOSH certificate and H&S procedures adherence must.
• Experience in service maintenance is essential.

Responsibilities

• Promote a strong safety culture and compliance with current H&S standards.
• Lead and coach teams; conduct performance reviews and development.
• Drive succession planning and talent development.
• Create and implement standard ways of working across the site.
• Escalate incidents with key stakeholders and manage responses.
• Plan and audit Planned Preventative Maintenance for automation equipment.
• Attend daily meetings and coordinate workload with operations.
• Organise repairs, improvements and modifications to equipment.
• Manage spare parts processes and inventories.
• Deputise for Site Manager during absence.
