Job summary

Morgan McKinley (South West) is seeking a hands-on Production Engineer to support scale-up, industrialisation, and day-to-day manufacturing of next-generation fluidic products. You will bridge R&D and production by building, wiring, and commissioning assembly fixtures, automated test equipment and robotic cells.

Qualifications

• Degree or apprenticeship in Mechanical, Electrical, Automation, or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Hands-on workshop experience wiring, building and troubleshooting electromechanical machinery.
• Familiarity with 3D CAD, electrical schematics, and industrial sensors/actuators.
• Exposure to medical device/biotech standards (ISO 13485) or basic robotics is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with scale-up, industrialisation and day-to-day manufacturing support.
• Build, wire, and commission assembly fixtures, automated test equipment and robotic cells.
• Support transfer of new products into production; tune processes like dispensing, laser welding and leak testing.
• Assist with equipment validation and continuous improvement using root-cause analysis and SPC tools.
