Job summary

Morgan Gray is recruiting for an experienced Production Engineer to join the engineering team in Dartford. You will own production engineering activities, ensuring processes run safely, efficiently and to high quality standards, while supporting new product introduction and implementing engineering solutions to improve performance.

Working closely with production and engineering teams, you will drive continuous improvement, develop tooling with 2D and 3D CAD, review work instructions, and mentor

Qualifications

• Strong manufacturing engineering background with a track record of process improvements.
• Lean knowledge and a hands-on, analytical approach are required.
• HNC or degree level qualification and collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

• Support and improve manufacturing processes to maximise efficiency, quality and safety.
• Take ownership of production KPIs and drive improvements across operational performance measures.
• Investigate issues using root cause analysis and structured problem-solving techniques.
• Design and implement new systems and methods to support growth and continuous improvement.
• Support introduction of new products and equipment into production.
• Design and develop tooling and fixtures using 2D/3D CAD to support operations.
• Create and update work instructions and standard operating procedures.
• Support maintenance activities and equipment reliability initiatives, including TPM.
