As part of the KION ITS UK&IR Intralogistics team, the main purpose of this role is to develop and grow the sales & Service revenues of Intralogistics Solutions, specifically including AGV’s and AMRs. This role will be home-based, with significant UK travel and will involve overnights away from home as required.

- Work alongside the National key account and new business managers to promote and develop sales of AGV’s & AMR’s
- See tenders through to completion
- Collaborate with Automation Project Engineers
- Coordinate with Project Managers & Robotic Application Engineers to ensure optimal routes and technical solutions before order placement and smooth handover afterward
- Promote AGV’s throughout your designated region
- Understand and utilize the flow plan development tool
- Provide advice and expertise on Automation/Intralogistics to customers
- Visit customer sites, develop solutions, prepare detailed proposals, and present solutions at all levels
- Meet challenging targets
- Produce ROI calculations at both detailed and overview levels
- Understand solution-based selling
- Follow internal submission rules before presenting to the Leadership team and customers
Tasks and Qualifications:
- Ideally possess a good understanding of AGV’s and solution-based selling; support will be provided to the right candidate
- Proven sales record, preferably in sales development
- Experience managing large tenders
- Strong communication and influence skills across all levels
- Understanding of materials handling flows within warehouse operations
- Experience creating and presenting proposals and PowerPoint presentations
- Confident in communicating with stakeholders internally (e.g., Directors) and externally (e.g., customers)
- IT literate, including intermediate PowerPoint and Excel skills
- Full driving license
