Job summary

Career Choices Dewis Gyrfa Ltd in Droitwich is seeking a technically minded Sales Engineer to drive growth in automation and engineering solutions across automotive, aerospace, medical, and other sectors.

You will identify opportunities, run customer meetings and site visits, and work with engineers to develop bespoke solutions, including proposals and cost estimates. This permanent, full-time role offers autonomy and room to influence business growth.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Technical Sales, Business Development or Engineering Sales.
• Experience managing your own diary, arranging customer meetings and conducting site visits.
• Background in manufacturing, automation, machinery, industrial engineering or related sectors would be highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Identify and generate new business opportunities across automotive, aerospace, medical, food manufacturing, rail, energy and other industrial sectors.
• Conduct customer meetings, site visits and technical consultations.
• Understand customer manufacturing processes and identify automation and process improvement opportunities.
• Work closely with engineering teams to develop bespoke technical solutions.
• Prepare technical proposals, quotations and cost estimates.
• Collaborate closely with the Managing Director to help shape future business growth.
