Job summary
Pioneer Selection Ltd in Telford is seeking an Improvement Engineer to join a highly automated manufacturing facility. You will drive operational excellence, improve equipment reliability and implement technical improvements across electrical, controls and mechanical systems.
This role requires experience in industrial automation, PLCs (Siemens/Allen-Bradley), fault-finding and preventive/predictive maintenance.
Qualifications
- Previous experience within a manufacturing or automated production environment.
- Continuous improvement background in an industrial setting.
- Experience working with electrical controls, automation and mechanical systems.
- Electrical fault-finding and controls experience.
- Experience with PLC systems (Siemens/Allen-Bradley).
- Knowledge of KPI-driven maintenance and reliability strategies.
Responsibilities
- Identify inefficiencies and implement technical improvements across electrical, controls and mechanical systems.
- Support reliability initiatives to improve equipment availability and performance.
- Drive operational excellence in a highly automated production environment.
- Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to optimise manufacturing processes.
