Job summary

Pioneer Selection Ltd invites applications for the role of Lead Automation Engineer at an automated manufacturing site in Buckinghamshire. The role is predominantly electrical, with 80% electrical focus and 20% mechanical, and requires taking ownership of breakdowns and improving reliability.

You will lead on-shift engineers and drive reliability improvements across the plant. The position offers a 4 on 4 off shift pattern (days & nights) with an annual bonus, and private healthcare after one

Qualifications

• Strong electrical fault-finding and automation capability
• Experience in a manufacturing environment (automated/fast-paced)
• Ability to take ownership of breakdowns and improve reliability
• Reading electrical drawings and diagnosing control system issues

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical breakdown response and complex fault-finding
• Carrying out PPMs, inspections, and planned maintenance
• Fault finding across electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems
• Supporting continuous improvement and reliability upgrades
