Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ лет опыта в performance-инженерии и ответственность за производительность в сложных системах.

Responsibilities

• Становиться точкой ответственности за производительность с первого дня и внедрять подходы к производительности в план delivery.
• Определять пороги, метрики и SLO, включая бюджеты на задержку, ошибок и пропускную способность.
• Проектировать и создавать тесты производительности для отдельных сервисов, замещая Downstream-зависимости.
• Сопоставлять нагрузку с реальным трафиком производства и выявлять бутылочные горлышки.
• Интегрировать тестирование производительности в CI/CD для автоматического контроля регрессий.
• Создавать повторно используемые и масштабируемые тесты производительности как код, компоненты и утилиты.
• Находить первопричины регрессий по всем слоям стека через логи и трассировку запросов.
• Вовлекать стейкхолдеров из инженерии, платформы и продукта для превращения находок в исправления.
• Выявлять риски производительности и масштабируемости на ранней стадии и конструктивно оспаривать допущения.

• Own performance from day one by embedding performance thinking into delivery plans before code is written;
• Define thresholds, metrics, and SLOs that govern pass or fail, including budgets for latency, error rate, and throughput;
• Design and build performance tests for individual services, stubbing downstream and third‑party dependencies;
• Map load to real production traffic to identify performance bottlenecks;
• Integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines to catch regressions automatically;
• Build reusable and scalable performance tests as code, components, templates, and utilities;
• Root‑cause regressions across the stack by reading logs and tracing requests through distributed systems;
• Engage stakeholders across engineering, platform, and product to turn findings into fixes;
• Raise performance and scalability risks early and challenge assumptions constructively.

• 5+ Years of experience in performance engineering with a track record of owning performance across complex, modern systems;
• Deep performance testing expertise including designing realistic load models and running load, stress, soak, and spike tests;
• Hands‑on depth with k6 for building and running performance tests;
• Monitoring and observability know‑how using tools like Datadog, Grafana, or CloudWatch;
• Strong programming ability in at least one language, with TypeScript used across the stack;
• Understanding of microservices, distributed systems, and testing services in isolation;
• Fluency with CI/CD pipelines;
• Nice to have: Experience in fintech, wealth management, or regulated financial services, Experience using AI‑assisted tooling to accelerate performance work, Contributions to internal quality guilds, communities of practice, or engineering culture initiatives, Experience mentoring engineers on performance and testing best practices.
